Lessons are provided in a bright, spacious and well equipped teaching studio in the Meadowbank area of Edinburgh, located close to the city centre with good transport links and free parking. Private lessons can also be provided in your own home at additional cost.
Acoustic, electric or classical guitar lessons are tailored to individual needs and requirements.  All ages and levels of ability are welcome, from the complete beginner to advancing players.  All styles and genres and techniques taught, from the basics through to music theory, compositions and improvisation as required and requested by each student.
Years of experience helping hundreds of students to reach their playing goals means your learning and playing will be in safe hands.  For parents, full PVG scheme membership is held alongside current posts teaching both in Primary and Secondary education.

All forms of acoustic guitar playing can be taught including plectrum and finger-picking styles.  Pop, acoustic blues, bluegrass and traditional celtic styles amongst other genres taught as desired.  Each student taught specifically with learning material based on what they would like to learn.


With a vast range of experience playing and teaching on electric guitar almost all styles and genres can be taught as required.  Whether a beginner wanting learn how to play classic riffs, to the advancing guitarist struggling with music theory and improvisation, basic and advanced techniques and concepts are taught within the context of relevant musical material.
